Joba Chamberlain (Yankees) Named the #1 pro prospect in 2006 Hawaii Winter League by Baseball America. Says BA, "He was the only pitcher in the league to show true top-of-the-rotation potential." Picked in the first round of 2006 draft from Nebraska. Joba is Native American and a member of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska.
Jordan Danks (University of Texas) Danks was named the #1 pro prospect among all freshman by Baseball America prior to 2006 season. Named Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America by Collegiate Baseball in 2006. He won the home run derby at the 2004 AFLAC All-America Game. This is his first baseball card ever produced.
Tony Watson (Pirates) Talented lefty was chosen in ninth-round of 2007 draft from Nebraska and advanced to Hickory (SAL) in first pro-season. Named 2005 Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America by Collegiate Baseball. Drafted in the 23rd round by the Florida Marlins in 2003 draft and the 17th round by Baltimore in '06 as a draft-eligible sophomore. Prior to 2006 draft, BA wrote, "Watson's fastball parks at 88-89 mph and touches 92, and his 6-foot-4, 210-pound frame hints at more velocity to come."
Nick Jaros (Kansas City T-Bones) Next to Danks, the most electrifying player in '05 MINK League. A lead-off hitter with power and speed, he batted .336-5-23 with 18 steals (he was caught only once). Transfered from University of Nebraska to Central Missouri and signed with Kansas City T-Bones.
